Common stains and odours we treat

Pet stains and urine odour, red wine, coffee, and general everyday spills are the most common issues we're asked to treat. Most respond well to prompt pre-treatment and steam cleaning. Older or heavily set-in stains and odours can be more stubborn, and while we always give them a proper go, some may only fade rather than fully disappear — we're upfront about this before we start, not after.

How our stain and odour treatment works

We assess the affected area first and apply a targeted pre-treatment suited to the stain type, then carry out the full hot water extraction clean over the surface. This lifts the treated area along with the rest of the carpet, couch, mattress or rug, rather than leaving an obvious clean patch around it.

Can you remove pet stains?

Most everyday pet stains lift well with our pre-treatment and steam cleaning process. Older, deeply set stains may only fade rather than fully disappear — we'll let you know what to realistically expect before we start.

Can you remove urine odour?

We treat the affected area before the full clean, which lifts most everyday urine odour from carpet, couches and mattresses. Odour that has soaked deep into underlay or padding over a long period may not fully clear — we'll be upfront if that's the case.

Can you remove red wine stains?

Fresh red wine spills usually lift well when treated promptly. Wine that's had time to set can be more stubborn, and while we'll always give it a proper go, we can't guarantee full removal of older stains.

Does the smell come back after the carpet or couch dries?

If odour was only masked rather than fully lifted, it can occasionally return as things dry. That's rare with fresh stains but more likely with old, deeply set ones — which is why we're upfront about what a stain is likely to do before we start.
